Our Story
We identify children facing the greatest challenges, including those impacted by homelessness, foster care, and generational dysfunction -- and help them re-write their stories not only for themselves, but for generations to come. Each child is paired with a salaried, professional mentor called a "Friend" for their entire childhood -- from kindergarten through high school graduation, for 12+ years. Their Friend works with each child both inside and outside of school, teaching and guiding valuable life lessons and skills on a daily basis -- including positive decision making, study skills, coping mechanisms, and basics that may prove of difficulty; not to mention simply being present through all of their ups and downs in life.
